My name is Jihye and I am an international school teacher with significant experience in the British curriculum. I am Primarily a STEM teacher, and can teach A Level Biology and Physics. I have also taught ESL and Humanities classes in both the UK and US curriculums. I have had the privilege of gaining management experience in multiple roles, both in UK schools and internationally, specifically in Asia.

I am passionate about work-life balance and ensuring that I am here to teach students for as long as possible. I think finding a balance between what teachers CAN do and what they SHOULD do is vital for improving the landscape of education in coming years.

I am strongly in favour of evidence-based education and love keeping up with research and thinking around teaching, learning, and memory. I also believe that, as much as we are responsible for students grades, it is important that we are also preparing students for the world. Specifically the world as it will be, not as it is now.
